Oromo Community in Switzerland

Hawaasni Oromoo  Switzerland biyya Switzerland keessatti seeraan mootummaa biratti galmaa'uu dhanan magaalaa Lausanne ti akka dhaaba bu'aa hin barbaanneetti (non-profiting) Hagayya 2008 jaaramee. Kaayyoon hawwaassni kun itti ijaarames akka armaan gadiiti:

• Aadaan oromoo afaan oromoo dabalatee hawwaasa oromoo biyya alaa jiran keesatti akka dhalataan oromoo biyya kana jiran aadaa isaanii hin hiraanfanne
• Oromoota wal-qunnamsiisuu dhaan akka wal gargaaranii fi hawwasa nagaa qabu akka uumani hawwaasa uummata isaaf fakkenya ta'u gochuu
• gargaarsa barmootaa oromoota biyya (Oromiaa) jiraniif gochuu
• Qunnamtii hawwaasa oromoo fi uummata biyya keessa jiraannu wajjiin gochuu dhaan eenyummaa oromoo itti beeksisuu
• Dardaraa fi shamarran oromoo hawwaasa keessatti hojii adda addaa keessatti hirmaachisuu dhaan qooda fudhannaa isaanii cimsuu
  

Objectives:

The Oromo Community of Switzerland is a switzerland registered organization located in Lausanne and was established in August 2008 as a non-profiting organization. The name of the Organization shall be Oromo Community in Switzerland. The community was founded based on the following objectives:

• To promote Oromo culture and language among the Oromos in the Diaspora , so as not to lose their identity and forget their root
• To bring together and promote solidarity among Oromo people - support each other and donate to the development of a healthy community
• To provide positive role model to the Oromo people
• To provide educational assistance to Oromo students in oromia.
• To introduce the Oromo culture to the outside world.
• Enhance the role of the youth in the community by engaging them in social, cultural or sports activities.
